I’ve noticed the more open I am about my faith the more people unfriend/unfollow me. That’s fine. Can’t control that. I realize that for most of you on my friends list, I’m the only Muslim you know. Like Christianity, Islam is not a Race.
Christianity originated from Arabia, just like Islam. Moses came with the 10 commandments and Torah, Jesus with the Gospels and finally Muhammad with the Qur’an. Many Jews didn’t accept Jesus and tried to kill him, but God Almighty, (Creator of the Heavens and Earth. The ONE God that has no partners associated with Him) saved Jesus from such a fate.
God created Jesus the same way He created Adam. From Dust.
“The similitude of Jesus before God Almighty is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was.”
Holy Qur’an 3:59
Just because Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) was born with no biological father does not give him the rank of God or Son of God or even on the same level as God. By that logic if any prophet had that claim it would be Adam.
God Almighty has NO partners associated with Him, human or other. God is ONE as He as always been. Adam worshiped God alone, as did Idris (Enoch), Nuh (Noah), Hud (Heber), Saleh (Methusaleh), Lut (Lot), Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), Yusuf (Joseph), Shu’aib (Jethro), Ayyub (Job), Dhulkifl (Ezekiel), Musa (Moses), Harun (Aaron), Dawud (David), Sulayman (Solomon), Ilyas (Elias), Alyasa (Elisha), Yunus (Jonah), Zakariya (Zachariah), Yahya (John the Baptist), Isa (Jesus) and Muhammad. Peace be upon them all. Not ONE of these prophets (or any) associated a partner or themselves with God. Not one.
If Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) were alive currently he would look more arabian than you care to admit.
Arabs and Jews are kin. Cousins. The Jewish bloodline came from Isaac and the Arab bloodline came from Ismail. You will hear Muslims refer to Abraham as the Grandfather of the believers. Just a little tidbit for ya.
But if you want to know about the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) in Islam, read the following Chapter in the Qur’an. Chapter 3 (Aal-i-Imraan) The Family of Imraan.
If you are unwilling to educate yourself about a topic you claim to hate, than where does this hate come from? Media influence? How can you hate something you refuse to learn anything about? Don’t let someone think for you. Don’t be that person. Read for yourself. Decide for yourself.
We are all Americans. Let’s not repeat the same mistakes our previous generations have made. Its up to us (now) to make peace amongst one another. What’s stopping us from doing that right now? Hate is a learnt behavior. And until we let go of that and let go of the mindset of how we were raised to think about others from previous generations, we will never grow as a community.
“Ignorance causes chaso, not Knowledge.”
God Almighty, (Creator of the Heavens and Earth. The ONE God that has no partners associated with Him) sent MANY Prophets to mankind. More than we even know about.
“And indeed We sent to every nation a Noble Messenger (proclaiming) that “Worship your Lord and beware of the devil”; therefore God Almighty guided some of them, and error proved true upon some of them; therefore travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the deniers!” [Holy Qur’an 16:36]

Here is the best English translation I have found of the Holy Qur’an
Click the link for English books about Islam. Educating yourself does not mean accepting the ideology of the topic you are learning. Unless of course its unrefutible, like science and math. But you get the idea.
